29 + 1... aka I turned 30. It's not a big deal really... I just don't feel 30. Or want to feel 30 or say I am in my 30's. Or... but I am. My name is Hazel and I am 30.
It has been an amazing, hectic, fun and exciting past few days! To celebrate my 29th+1 birthday, my lovely husband took me to London, kid free, to get all done up and head out on the town for a few nights.
I ate like a queen. I have surely eaten way over my calorie quota for the next... year! Friday started with afternoon tea at the Waldorf where we sipped champagne and drank tea with our pinky's out! We went for Mexican food, sushi, cocktails and beers. French breakfasts, home-cooked fry ups, tea and more tea. We ate copious amounts of chocolate cake (sometimes as a main meal!) cupcakes, treats and drank lots of quality coffee. My belly doth spill over!
I thrifted and searched for pretty vintage dresses, dragging the boys around the markets and Brick Lane. My favorite boy in London, my bestie Rob, got my huuuurrr did for me as a gift for my big Saturday night out. Along with a super cute dress from the Old Spittalfield's Vintage Market. I love it! Rob's partner Dave took us to new heights, literally, as we zoomed up the Shard and had the MOST AMAZING views of the whole of London.
I have totally lost my blogging mojo this week. I am so exhausted. My whirlwind 30th Birthday celebrations in London really did take it out of me! It must be part of getting old! (not to mention I was straight back onto Momma duty when I got back!) But I did come home to my gorgeous babies, a fabulous dinner with all my family and friends and the most delicious homemade lemon cake from Brianna! My weekend could not have been better...
I've a busy baking schedule as of tomorrow, a baby shower and a birthday party all needing cupcakes and treats! Woo! I'll be back with a few recipes form there. Looks like my little home based business venture might take off... Now just to find a little tea-shop to set up in. Have a great week everyone.

I have to say hello to my new followers, so good to have you stop by! Thank you :)
P.S forgive the photo overload... this isn't even half of what I took. I take the most ridiculous photos of random things, but also I totally love myself and had to add my hair. I just love it!

Happy Birthday!!
