52 Weeks of Happy 14/52

Getting back to this... miles behind the rest of you but loving every minute of this week! I finally remembered to show you....
  • My Heart Swap treats I sent to Shelley . The idea was at least one of the five things sent needed to be hand made and all had to have a heart theme. I made Shelley a little pinny and appliqued some hearts onto a hand towel. I drew a little picture for her wall and then spotted this travel mug on the high-street. I filled it with love hearts, as you do, and added a few extra bits and bobs in. It made me so happy to put the parcel together.
  • The wonderful package that she sent me. Shelley really hit my baking bug... I got some gorgeous new cookie cutters, heart fluted tins, a gorgeous new hook (which takes pride of place in my hall) and you see that little purple keyring, Shelley crocheted that just for me! It's perfect! I love them all.
  • Dolly getting arty with the camera and taking shadow pictures of her fairies... Never have I been so proud of her creativity- this came way out of left field. She just thought the lamp in the sitting room would make an awesome shadow and set up the  whole "photo shoot" herself. Isn't that a great picture?

But most of all... what has made me SO HAPPY this week are the sweet thoughts, kind words and general niceness that comes from all of you, my dear readers, about my blogging.

It's easy to get bogged down in one stupid, insignificant comment but you all have shown me this week, that it doesn't matter. The nasty's opinion doesn't matter and it never will.

This is my space, my blog, my little slice of the Internet. You dropping by, staying for a while and maybe even leaving wonderful comments make me ohsohappy! So thank you. Thank you for making this week happy!
